It’s amazing when you think about it. Miamore have been in business for more than five years. As for each Hair Stylist, Nail Technician, Lash Technician, Facial & Body Therapist and Laser Technician — we all have a cumulative experiences of more than 40 years. That is what you — our client — is getting whenever you step through our doors.
Miamore is the brain-child of Mia Kim, whose more than 30 years of experience working for some of the high end biggest names in the cosmetic industry such as Shiseido, Clé de Peau Beauté, Sisley, La Prairie, Christian Dior and Bobbie Brown, all led up to her starting her own Salon.
For her, it has always been about giving the client the best experience.
We like to say, “Beauty is more than what you see.”
Mia’s experience in the Beauty and Cosmetology industry is diverse and comprehensive. She was a Cosmetology Instructor, Hair Stylist, Esthetician, Laser Technician, Cosmetic Tatoo Artist, Master Makeup Artist, Fashion Coordinator and one of the Lead Makeup Artist for many American politicians, news anchors, celebrities, and was called upon by the the Obama Family on several occasion.
She was in-charge of several High Fashion Design & Make-Up Shows, and was the Make-up artist for Miss Washington and Miss Hong Kong. Mia is a former Seminar instructor for the Korean Seasonal MBC Broadcast and Cosmetology Institute, as well as the Miss Universe Participants.
She has more than 30 years of experience as a make-up instructor. She teaches makeup artistry and is available for wedding makeup, special events and make-up lessons for groups and individual.
